Jadat Griffith

Jadat Griffith is a sibling of 7, mother of 4, and grandmother of 4. She has worked for over 25 years in the private sector in banking, sales, media, educator & is currently a Vice Principle with the Adelanto School District with over 20 years of experience in the educational system. Awards and credentials include California teaching credentials and California administrative credentials. Community service includes active Chamber of Commerce member, executive board member for Adelanto Teachers Union, and bargaining chairman and member for Adelanto Teachers Union. She has a bachelor's degree from California Baptist University, a master's degree from Redlands University, and is currently working on a doctoral degree from Redlands University.
Why C4MI- While resources are available, families in crisis don’t always know where to go for help. I believe in the mission and purpose of Caring 4 Mental Illness. The goals of C4MI are to empower families impacted by mental illness through advocacy, teaching, and support. To build community alliances in reducing the stigma associated with mental health.

David Griffith Sr.

Marketing and advertising consultant, David has a marketing background working in corporate America with national newspaper and yellow page directory companies spanning over 20 years. Helping others has always been important. He has also served as a city planning commissioner, chamber of commerce committee member, Cops & Clergy Network board of directors, United Way volunteer, and Little League baseball coach. He likes to stay connected to his community by staying involved. "DDT" is the motto he lives by. It stands for do the right thing, do your best, and treat others the way you want to be treated. Mental wellness hits home as he lost his mother to mental illness in 2018. "Mental Illness is tough to talk about and that's why I became a part of C4MI to help find solutions for those in need. Conversations need to be had but first, the stigma and negative picture of mental illness has to be eliminated.

Dr Felix Roger Jones III

Happily married with 7 children, 27 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Has worked as a Christian pastor for 45 years & a community advocate. Awards & credentials include licensed and ordained minister in the Baptist faith, trained & certified Chaplain, numerous service award, Redlands Community Service award, Redlands Special Achievement Award. Community service includes the founder of National Cops and Clergy Network. The organization fosters good working relationships between the community and civil and law enforcement. Schooling includes Doctoral Degree- Theology, Master of Theology, Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business, AA Supervision, Certificate of Computer Technology. Why C4MI- Family members deal with mental illness. We want to learn more and help more. I want to help erase the stigma associated with mental illness. Goals with C4MI- More knowledge of what help is needed, learn where I can best help, get to know fellow workers that share my goals, and help educate other volunteers about mental illness.

Sarah Reyes

Mental illness has hit close to her family and is looking forward to providing the resources available to help the community with this illness. Sarah has been involved in many community non-profit organizations and will provide great knowledge to Caring for Mental Illness. Her career skills include customer service, accounting, community volunteering, and marketing background. She also bring years of experience with fundraising and coordinating events, which will be an asset to the organization.

Treasurer

Theretta King

Theretta King is a sibling of 7 and mother of 4. She is a software systems specialist working in her industry for over 15 years in various roles, capacities and industries. She has a business degree in finance from Cal State Northridge and a Masters from the University of Phoenix. Due to the impact mental illness disorders has had on her family she feels strongly for the work being done and is very passoniate about helping others get the resources they may need. She feels Caring 4 Mental Illness is an organization that has been needed for a very long time.

Terayle Garnett

Terayle Garnett wrote the recently published "Create Your Own Story" workbook and is currently working on creating the "Create Your Own Story" journal and physical book. After realizing the need for a change in his life during his time in retail, he enrolled in WCI's Certified Life Coach training program, which had a transformative impact. Terayle now collaborates with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including world-renowned Grammy and Stellar award-winning musicians, and provides services to the largest legal call center in the world.
